Road Reopening & Repaving News

If you haven’t been there yet, the gates are now (and probably have been since the last Phase) open at Prybil Beach on East Island in Glen Cove.
Broadway in Huntington Station has now been repaved!!!! That had been in horrible shape for a long time. Lastly, the northbound side of Harbor Rd (Rt 108) has FINALLY been deforested so you needn’t ride in the middle of the traffic lane any more, or until it all grows back! Jeff Erlitz |

And park ave from the railroad tracks to Dunlop has been done, but they left the concrete fill when you make the right onto Dunlop. I was almost so happy!

That was Lake Rd, not Park Ave, from the track to Dunlop.

Pigeon Hill Road from the top to Jericho Tpk has been repaved. Sweet downhill now.
