Sticky How to Mute a Topic
When someone posts a topic for discussion sometimes there are too many responses for some people. It may be a topic that they don’t want to follow.
Groups.io has a feature called Muting that can enable a member to Mute the Topic. When you Mute a Topic, you will no longer receive any future emails on this Topic.
The procedure to Mute a topic follows.
- At the bottom of the email there are several links. Including View/Reply online………….Mute This Topic.
Click the Link that says Mute This Topic. - You will be brought to a web site. It will say Mute Topic, Mute the “specific topic”, and a box that says Yes and one that says No.
Click the box that says Yes. That will do it.
