This chart is helpful in showing the risk of the virus and relevant to this group email because it specifically lists the risk of group bike riding.
The risks shift up or down based on the amount of the virus in a given community during a specific time. For example All the activities shift riskier for someone in Arizona or or Florida and less risky for someone in NY or Connecticut.
Subject to change.

Did anyone tell the COM the Gold Coast was canceled ? There is a tent with tables and chairs at Harborfields High School !!! Should have moved it to Florida this year, Disney opened today, surely 500 cyclists wouldn’t get in the way.

We should be following CDC guidelines and assuming that we are all responsible adults. I shared a situation with Scott. He jumped to the conclusion that I had high risk exposure- 15 minutes in close proximity to an infected person. I had not. To be sure I was safe, I was tested on June 30th and again in July 6- both negative. My mom and aunt both tested positive and were sick. I had no part in their care other than dropping off food outside their door. My niece and nephew, who both have antibodies, have isolated with them for over 2 weeks. They are both recovered and according to CDC guidelines- 10 days since onset of symptoms, no fever for the last 3 days and reduction in respiratory symptoms, they no longer have to isolate. They never had respiratory symptoms and have met the other 2 criteria. So they are free to come out of isolation but I can't participate in group rides? Facts and details matter. People shouldn't react without knowing them. Knowing someone who was sick shouldn't exclude anyone. And test results matter. Testing negative twice is a significant detail. Matt Frisch

Matt,
This is a discussion involving medical details of yourself and your family members. I suggest you do this privately with HBC board members - you should not be making these details public.
Happy to hear your mother and aunt are doing well, and that you are keeping well.
