Ride The Hilly Hell Sunday 1/17 8:30 AM
Jonathan Stern <Dovandyoni@...>
Please let me know if you’d like to join me to ride Frank DelBalso’s Hilly Hill, a never-ending series of short, steep climbs. The Ridewithgps file can be found at the bottom of this email. We will climb at our own paces and regroup periodically to keep everyone together while we soar and swoop through suburban Long Island. When you've completed the ride, you'll have climbed 2330 feet over 46 miles or 50.65 feet per mile. You'll also be able to tell your friends and family that you summited Jayne's Hill, the highest point on Long Island. We will ride at a B pace, climbing all hills at our own paces and regrouping periodically. Stops will be short and mostly outdoors so bring adequate pocket food and potable fluids. All HBC Covid-19 Guidelines apply. I also respectively ask that once we meet at the Smith Street Lot, face masks be worn whenever we are not rolling or when passing through congested areas where social distancing can't be maintained. Please make sure that your bike is in good repair and that your bring two spares and a pump or CO2 cartridges. The ride is limited to 9 riders plus your leader. We will start promptly at 8:30 AM from the Smith Street parking lot. I can be reached at 516-695-9971 if you have any questions. Jonathan "Yoni" Stern https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34547339 |
