Re: COVID Risk Chart
Matt Frisch
We should be following CDC guidelines and assuming that we are all responsible adults. I shared a situation with Scott. He jumped to the conclusion that I had high risk exposure- 15 minutes in close proximity to an infected person. I had not. To be sure I was safe, I was tested on June 30th and again in July 6- both negative. My mom and aunt both tested positive and were sick. I had no part in their care other than dropping off food outside their door. My niece and nephew, who both have antibodies, have isolated with them for over 2 weeks. They are both recovered and according to CDC guidelines- 10 days since onset of symptoms, no fever for the last 3 days and reduction in respiratory symptoms, they no longer have to isolate. They never had respiratory symptoms and have met the other 2 criteria. So they are free to come out of isolation but I can't participate in group rides? Facts and details matter. People shouldn't react without knowing them. Knowing someone who was sick shouldn't exclude anyone. And test results matter. Testing negative twice is a significant detail.
